The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board. It is compliant with DOT standards and a perfect replacement for trailer lights under 80 Inch width towing vehicles, like boat trailers, RVs, tractors, canoes, trucks, trailers, buses, Lorries, Vans, caravans, snowmobiles, etc.

The 3-wire pigtail hardwires into the trailer's wiring. The white wire is the ground; the white + yellow wire on the front side works and is high brightness; the white + brown wire on three sides works, with the front side being low brightness. On the right side, the white wire is the ground; the white + green wire on the front side works and is high brightness; the white + brown wire on two sides works, with the front side being low brightness. This is a surface-mount light, so it will extend out from the trailer.
